Just here to update the list of homework, just in case you lost any of the list:

Maths

1)Read through the materials uploaded in the HeyMath website.(uploaded on 1st Nov)
2)Go through the examples in the textbook; do the questions in the exercises. Start with a fresh sheet of paper for each exercise.
3)Then attempt the online test; the marks will form part of the continual assessment for the year 2009 (uploaded on 15 Nov)
4)All the above written assignments are to be submitted to your E Maths teacher when the school reopens in 2009.

1. Composition: Write a composition based on a topic which you did not attempt in the EOY paper 1.

2. Comprehension: Answer all the questions (Q1-Q14) for Practice Paper 6 (page 175) in Distinction in English Lower Secondary Comprehension. (done on foolscap)

3. Response to letters in "Forum, The Straits Times"
Choose 2 letters published in the Forum page of TST and respond to them. You may respond as a reader or as the authority concerned. Each letter you choose to respond to must deal with a different issue. Your response to each letter should be between 200-300 words.

You must cut out the letters you are responding to and paste them on foolscap paper; the date when the letter was published must also be indicated. You may write your response on the same foolscap paper.
